Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder released a statement on Wednesday in response to Gordon Hayward's decision to leave the team and sign with the Boston Celtics.
Hayward, who was selected by the Jazz with the ninth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft, led the team last season in points (21.9), assists (3.5) and minutes (34.5) per game
In Snyder's statement, he expressed disappointment but also looked back with pride on Hayward's accomplishments with the team.
"Since my arrival to Utah, Gordon gave his best every day we were together.
