Playing defense is like riding a bike for the Utah Jazz

If they hope to have any shot at competing for a playoff spot, the Jazz’s defense will have to emulate what it did the last couple of months of last season for a remarkable turnaround.

“Hopefully, you never forget how to do it, but if you haven’t ridden the bike in a while, you have to put the chain back on, the seat may be too low, it’s rusty, the tires are flat; so, we need to get our bike back in shape.”

SALT LAKE CITY — During his Media Day interview, Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder compared playing defense to riding a bicycle, a simile that both makes sense and makes for some good visual comedy.
