The writing had been on the wall for some time, and even if the Jazz didn't get anything out of him, it was best for both sides to part ways. However, it's a shame that they did in some respect because the NBA just changed a rule that would have made Clarkson a little more entertaining: allowing him to let it fly at the buzzer.
