NBA x NBL: Utah Jazz thrash Perth Wildcats in the US

Perth Wildcats' NBA adventure quickly turned into a horror show with the Utah Jazz thumping the NBL side by 58 points.

The Jazz were without their Australian guard-forward Joe Ingles who sat out of Saturday's exhibition game in Salt Lake City with achilles soreness, but they did not need his sharpshooting as they won 130-72.

The Jazz opened the game with a 15-0 lead, extended it to 44-13 at the first quarter and by halftime were up 75-34 before coach Quin Snyder began to rest his starters and went deep into his bench.
