There have been some shocking results during the first week of the season. Teams like the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans that are expected to contend have been awful while some teams with low expectations have performed well. Some of the biggest surprises to this point have been in the East where the Pistons are on top after three impressive wins while the Knicks aren't too far behind.
