The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers had a special guest in attendance Tuesday night when they took the floor in the Windy City to open the NBA season.
President Barack Obama, an avid basketball (and particularly Bulls) fan, took a seat on the front row at the United Center partway through the first quarter of the Bulls' 97-95 win.
When the TNT broadcast of the game returned from commercial in the second quarter, Obama had an interview with NBA analyst David Aldridge, during which he analyzed Chicago's offense under new head coach Fred Hoiberg, discussed which teams he thinks will win both the Eastern and Western conferences and talked about an initiative he sponsors that the NBA supports called My Brother's Keeper.
