If he had been on the fringes of the talk concerning Heisman Trophy contention, Utah running back Devontae Booker's 222 yards on the ground Saturday against Cal put him right back in the middle of that conversation.
On the heels of that performance, Booker was featured Tuesday in a story by ESPN's David Lombardi, where he discusses his upbringing in the crime-ridden Sacramento, California, neighborhood Del Paso Heights, the obstacles he faced to get to Utah, his play on the field and what life might look like after his playing days are over.
"My goal is to build a Boys and Girls Club in Del Paso Heights," Booker said.
