One sign of having arrived on the scene in the sports world is getting featured on the website Grantland.
That happened to the BYU football team Tuesday, as writer Michael Weinreb delved into whether or not the Cougars can be in position anytime soon to return to national championship contention.
Weinreb focuses on the uniqueness of the university, the growing legend of freshman quarterback Tanner Mangum and the fact that BYU is not affiliated with a conference.
His conclusion?
"It’s now or never:," Weinreb writes. "Either they Hail Mary their way out of no-man’s-land, or they sink back down to the middle.
