Mike Conley’s short film, “Two Distant Strangers”, wins Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film

On Sunday night, the short film “Two Distant Strangers” was awarded the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film. Among the list of Executive Producers on the film is Utah Jazz All-Star point guard Mike Conley. Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant, was another Executive Producer on the short. Conley and Durant join Kobe Bryant as NBA All-Stars to win Academy Awards.

“Two Distant Strangers” carries a powerful message. The Utah Jazz recently watched the short film together as a team, and Quin Snyder described the film as “Impactful and timely”.
