Joe Ingles Looking Like the Utah Jazz Glue Guy Once Again

Related Topics: Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz, Quin Snyder

In my 10 Takeaways After 10 Games, I called Joe Ingles the “glue guy” of the Utah Jazz, echoing statements made by head coach Quin Snyder at the time. While Ingles has continued to be a vocal force for the Jazz, the grind of the season, inconsistent minutes and shooting woes neutralized his effectiveness during the season’s middle months.

The low point came in February when Ingles averaged just 2.6 points in 12.7 minutes per game, while shooting 39 percent from the floor and 19 percent from distance. Ouch.

Fast forward to now and, with the Jazz winners of five out of their last six games, Ingles is looking like the glue guy once again.
