Has it really been 20 years?
Twenty years ago the famous phrase: “John Stockton has sent the Utah Jazz to the NBA Finals” changed the way Jazz fans felt about their favorite team and their favorite players. The Jazz were no longer just an also ran. This was a team competing for a title. All these years later there has never been a team so beloved in the Beehive State than the Utah Jazz teams that contended for the NBA championship.
Nostalgia is in high demand, so with the pending 20-year anniversary the Jazz announced they would be honoring the 1997 Western Conference Championship team and this past week the flood of memories has come rushing back for many fans.
