Jazz notes: Snyder 'angry' at suspended Booker; Millsap's excused absence

“I get angry at him when I see him right now because I miss him. Guys have to know it (the consequences). I know no one’s more disappointed right now than he is, but it’s something we’ve got to prepare for, no question.”

SALT LAKE CITY — Trevor Booker might want to steer clear of his coach the next day or two.

Quin Snyder is not happy at all that the Jazz begin their season on Wednesday in Detroit but Booker won’t begin his until Friday in Philadelphia. The occasionally feisty power forward was suspended for one game by the NBA for smacking Lakers center Roy Hibbert with his open left hand during a preseason game in Hawaii.
