SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz has announced the hiring of Mike Elliott as vice president of performance health care. Elliott will be in charge of both medical and sports science activities, along with supervising both the team's training and strength and conditioning program.
Elliott spent the last 14 seasons with the Phoenix Suns (2013-17) as a member of the athletic training staff and director of team's performance in the past two seasons. He was named NBA's Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year and by the National Basketball Strength and Conditioning Association following after the 2013-2014 season.
