Jazz power forward Derrick Favors, who had an impressive scrimmage, said his coach is having more fun in his second training camp with the team.
SALT LAKE CITY — Quin Snyder, whose powerful leadership style as a rookie coach included intimidating stares and stern reprimands along with active encouragement, admitted he might be less intense at times than he was last season.
“The course of the season and our team and how we play will dictate that as much as anything,” Snyder said as the Jazz began training camp this week.
Derrick Favors, now in his sixth season, has already noticed a difference.
