The 24-hour news cycle is a crazy thing. Stories break, the internet goes bananas and final verdicts are issued in the court of public opinion in a matter hours. Then, before you know it, the next scandal comes along and the villains of headlines past fade into the background.
Such is the nature of modern media.
Still, certain stories break the mold, coming back to haunt the poor souls involved time and time again. Former Utah Jazz scout Alberto Dal Cin is the subject of one such story.
Thanks to the internet sleuths @OldTakesExposed on Twitter, a 2003 story where the team’s former head of international scouting made public some dubious player evaluations continues to resurface.
