Former Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic announces retirement after 11 seasons in the NBA

After a decade of knock down 3-point shooting, game-winning buzzer beaters, and being a fan favorite for multiple franchises, Bojan Bogdanovic has decided to retire from the game of basketball.

On Sunday morning, Bogdanovic put out a statement on his social media saying goodbye to the sport.

“Sometimes in life, you don’t choose the moment. The moment chooses you,” Bogdanovic said.After 14 months of battling a foot injury, two surgeries, and countless efforts to get back on the court, the time has come to close a chapter.”

Looking back at Bojan’s career in Utah

Tabbed as one of the biggest free agents signings in franchise history, the Utah Jazz’s signing of Bogdanovic in 2019, along with the trade to acquire Mike Conley, vaulted the Jazz into Western Conference title contention.
