Brad Rock: It's now or never for Trey Burke as starting Jazz guard

Injury to Dante Exum thrust Burke back into the limelight. He has matured and has experience. But so far his numbers haven't set him apart.

SALT LAKE CITY — There was no Magic Johnson at the dais, not even a stray Ricky Rubio, Monday at Jazz media day. Trey Burke cut an unassuming pose as the premier point guard in the room. Still, he’s the heavy favorite to start when the season begins in a month.

What that says about overall production this year was summed up by coach Quin Snyder.
