3 takeaways from the Utah Jazz’s 101-88 loss to the Phoenix Suns in their first action since March

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz basketball was back Thursday night for the first time in over four months, as the team played its first scrimmage game in the Disney World bubble against the Phoenix Suns.

With the caveat that it was the first action in a long time and it doesn’t count in the standings, the Jazz weren’t sharp for most of the night in an eventual 101-88 loss.

Here are three takeaways from the game.

  • The Jazz allowed the Suns to get just about whatever they wanted in the first half and were down 50-39 at intermission.
