SALT LAKE CITY — The $125 million renovation of Vivint Arena will include a 14-foot-tall, 21-foot-wide illuminated J-note in the middle of the main plaza.
The icon has been the symbol of the Utah Jazz — the arena's main tenant — for almost the franchise's entire history, reaching back to its first five years New Orleans. Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment made the announcement today.
New additions to the outdoor plaza also include connected video boards on the main entrance. This will replace the marquee on the corner of South Temple and 300 West. The renovations are about 30 days away from completion.
