The women’s tennis team picked up its 24th consecutive home win Thursday against the SMU Mustangs in the final match at the UTA Tennis Center this season.
Junior Angeles de los Rios and sophomore Agustina Serio finished their individual matches in two sets.
Junior Jessica Birowski won her match going 6-0, 6-7 and 6-4. Junior Astrid Gehre came back from losing her first set to win the next two sets 7-5 and 6-0 to take the match.
In the only loss of the day, freshman Valeria Lopez fell in three sets going 6-3, 1-6 and 6-3.
