In its penultimate fall event, the women’s golf team posted a seventh-place finish at the Fred Marx Invitational at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe, Louisiana.
For the fourth consecutive event, the team was led by freshman Ava Schwienteck, who tied for fourth at 13 over par with a final score of 229.
Freshman Allison Wade trailed, tying for 34th at 29-over. Freshman Kate Tran tied for 43rd at 33-over, freshman Madigan Murray tied for 48th at 35-over and junior Rachel Phillips tied for 55th at 38-over.
Freshman Sydney Garber, who competed as an individual, tied for 36th at 33-over.
