Coastal Carolina University could not break the Lady Mavericks' three-game win streak as they seized a 70-41 win Thursday at HTC Center.
CCU went 12-47 from the floor and recorded a 31.3 3-point percentage, while UTA shot a 21.4 percentage. The Lady Mavericks forced 28 turnovers; the team has forced over 20 turnovers in 13 of its last 14 games.
Junior guard Crystal Allen scored a team-high 12 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard Christina Devers followed with 11 points. Freshman point guard Ericka Mattingly helped defensively, posting six steals.
Junior center Rebekah VanDijk and junior guard Cierra Johnson scored 10 points each.
