J.T. Wenger, UTA volleyball head coach, announced the signing of six new players for the 2019 season on Thursday.
“We are excited to put together a class that will add such strength and depth to our program,” Wenger said in a press release. “This group consists of athletes with great arms, speed, and volleyball intuition.”
Danielle Dion
Dion, a 6-foot outside hitter from Richardson, Texas, joins the UTA volleyball program from Plano East High School. Wenger described Dion as a ‘fiery attacker’ with a really fast arm.
Meredith Fisher
Fisher, an outside hitter, is joining the program from Rider High School in Wichita Falls, Texas.
