The University of North Texas Mean Green handed the UTA Volleyball team its first road loss of the season Tuesday, dropping its record to 2-2.
The Mavericks pushed the game to five sets after losing the first two, but fell to the Mean Green 3-2.
UTA scored 13 of the final 14 points to win the third set 25-12. The Mavs started off with another run in the fourth set to take a 7-0 lead. The Mavs held off the Mean Green again to force a fifth deciding set.
Both teams continuously traded the lead in the final set, but UNT was able to the win the set 15-13.
