The volleyball team (11-10, 3-6) will hit the road for four away matches in the next two weeks.
UTA will travel to the Carolinas this weekend, first squaring off against Appalachian State University at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Boone, North Carolina, before facing Coastal Carolina University at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Conway, South Carolina.
The Mavericks will then make the trip to the Pelican State next weekend to face the University of Louisiana at Lafayette at 6:30 p.m. Friday before closing its stretch of road matches against the University of Louisiana Monroe at noon Sunday.
The team has dropped five of its last six matches in Sun Belt Conference play.
