The volleyball team (8-4) wrapped up its nonconference slate in the 2019 Maverick Invitational on Saturday at College Park Center. The Mavericks opened the day with a sweep of Prairie View A&M University before being swept by Stephen F. Austin State University.
As the final matches of nonconference were closed out, head coach J.T Wenger said he is most satisfied with the team’s transition play, defensive awareness and playing out-of-system balls.
