The UTA Volleyball team completed its eight-game road stretch Saturday, finishing 0-3 at the Islander Classic.
UTA opened day two of the classic with a rematch against University of Nevada at Las Vegas at the Dugan Wellness Center.
UTA kept it close in the first set, but the Rebels pulled away late in the first set with their largest lead at 22-19. Sophomore middle blocker Zhanelle Geathers put up two kills in an attempt to catch up, but an attack error from Geathers opened the window for the Rebels to take a 25-22 set win.
The second set resembled the first.
