The UTA Track and Field teams ended the weekend with a number of victories at the Texas Tech Classic on Friday and Saturday.
Junior Alexus Henry followed up last meet’s first-place performance with a second-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.80 meters, which is her season best.
The 4x400 meter men’s relay team, comprised of junior sprinters D’Undre Mitchell, Erik Martinsson, Deontre Haynes and Garrett Moore, secured the victory with a time of 3:17.49.
Sophomore sprinter Demarviae Gray finished third in the 200 meter dash, with a time of 21.52 seconds and fifth in the 60 meter dash, with a time of 6.
