In a dramatic three-game series between the baseball team (9-9, 3-0) and Georgia State University, the Mavericks swept the Panthers in walk-off fashion during the weekend at Clay Gould Ballpark.

Like game one of the series, the Mavericks found themselves down early, but stayed determined and fought back to claim victory.
Junior infielder Noah Vaughan said he has been in these types of situations before, and knows the importance of staying calm and keeping composure.
“We fought our way back and we fought hard,” Vaughan said.
