Marangeli LopezNEW ORLEANS — In the quest for its first-ever Sun Belt Championship title, the men’s basketball team (21-13) fell short to Georgia State University 71-68 on Sunday at Lakefront Arena.
Despite the loss, graduate student center Johnny Hamilton grabbed a double-double, putting up 23 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in his final game as a Maverick.
