The women’s basketball team (16-10, 10-5) extended its win streak to five games after going 2-0 during the weekend in Louisiana.

The Lady Mavericks got off to a rough start that saw the Warhawks lead 18-15 at the end of the first quarter.
Come the second quarter, UTA stepped up its game, outscoring ULM 31-17 to lead 46-35 at the break. Senior center Rebekah VanDijk led all scorers at halftime with 17 points.
Louisiana-Monroe opened up the third quarter with a quick four points to make it a seven-point game.
