In day two of the Maverick Classic, the volleyball team (5-6) fell to Houston Baptist University 3-2 on Friday at College Park Center.
“I think we had a pretty good game plan that we executed really well for a lot of the match, and they made some adjustments and it took us a little long to catch onto that,” head coach J.T. Wenger said. “Ultimately, they executed a little better than we did in crunch time.”
There were a lot of substitutions off the bench throughout the match, and Wenger made it clear everybody was needed.
“It takes everybody,” Wenger said.
