Head coach Darin Thomas announced the release of the 2019 baseball schedule Monday.
The 52-game schedule is highlighted by the 2019 UTA Classic, a few games against in-state foes and some matchups with NCAA Tournament regulars like the University of Oklahoma and Texas A&M University.
A four-game series against Texas A&M University Corpus Christi will kick off the Maverick baseball season Feb. 15.
Following that, the team will host Wichita State University and Stephen F. Austin State University in the 2019 UTA Classic from Feb. 22 to Feb. 24.
Aside from the beginning of Sun Belt Conference play, the month of March is highlighted by three Big 12 opponents.
