Athletics director Jim Baker appointed Peejay Brun as the new head coach for the softball program Tuesday morning.
Brun's appointment came almost a month after former head coach Kristie Fox departed the team.The University of Hawai’i 1994 alumna brings 19 years of collegiate coaching experience to UTA.
Throughout her career at the university, Brun played as a catcher and an outfielder.
