The Mavericks (15-0) are one of only two undefeated teams in Division I softball in the nation.
Despite this, senior infielder Rebecca Stokes said the Mavs remember their past seasons and don’t let the success get to their head.
“We try not to get our heads too big,” Stokes said. “It is a really big accomplishment, but we just try to stay humble and know where we came from.”
The team chemistry for the Mavs this year has been a big part of their success so far this season.
“This is probably the best team chemistry of any team I’ve ever been on,” senior outfielder Britnea Barilli said.
