The Texas Rangers (74-70) beat the American League West-leading Houston Astros (78-66) 4-2 to take the series, bouncing back from an 11-0 loss Saturday.
The Rangers took two of three from the Astros, on the back of great pitching performances and an offensive explosion with a three-run sixth inning.

The first run of the game came in the bottom of the second inning after a dropped third strike and a throwing error by Astros catcher Yanier Diaz allowed Rangers second baseman Dylan Moore to come around and score.
