Movin' Mavs take Rio in the Paralympics

To prepare for her television interview, sophomore Lady Movin’ Mav Rose Hollermann was getting her hair and makeup done like an actress on a movie set.

It’s nothing new for her. Hollermann will be making her second appearance in the Paralympics.

Hollermann and sophomore Lady Movin’ Mav Abby Dunkin will represent the U.S. women’s wheelchair basketball team in the Paralympics in September. She said she has grown as a player since her first trip in 2012.

“I was so young my first Paralympics, I was only 16,” Hollermann said. “Going into these games, I’m a starter and I play a lot more, so it’s changed a lot.
