The winning streak continues for the Movin’ Mavs (16-0) after going 4-0 this past weekend in a divisional tournament hosted at Auburn University.
Game No. 1: UTA 76, University of Missouri 46
Senior Fabian Romo led the team with 28 points in the win, which was UTA’s second victory against Missouri this season.
Head coach Doug Garner said he knew Missouri would focus on stopping Romo after he scored 41 points in their previous matchup.
“It was a little bit of a slow start,” Garner said. “We made some good adjustments and got a lot of good output from the lineups that we played.
