In the final tournament of the season, senior Zach Galliford’s second top 10 finish of the season wasn’t enough to give the men’s golf team a top five finish.
At the Duck Commander Intercollegiate Tuesday, the Mavericks finished sixth place out of the 10-team field with a 48-over par, 912 overall score.
Galliford led the Mavericks with a 7-over par, 223 score, good for an eighth-place finish. Junior Aaron Guanlao elevated four spots on the final day of the tournament to claim a 14th place finish, only two strokes back of Galliford. No other Maverick finished in the top 20.
