Led by freshman Paul Gonzalez, the men’s golf team capped off its third event of the year with a 13th-place finish Tuesday at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic in Pearland, Texas.
Gonzalez concluded the event tied for 22nd at 2 over par with a score of 218.
Senior Aaron Guanlao followed with a comeback, moving up 24 places to finish tied for 45th at 8 over par.
Rounding out the team, graduate student Nick Thornton tied for 56th at 11 over par, junior Tanner Gore tied for 69th at 14 over par and freshman Andrew Lindberg placed 79th at 18 over par.
