Men's basketball wins by 36; sets 3-pointer record

Even with the same amount of seniors as Bradley University, the men’s basketball team looked like the more experienced bunch and made quick work to show it Tuesday.

The Mavericks blew out the Braves 97-61 for their third consecutive win and fourth of the season at the College Park Center where they’re undefeated.

Sophomore forward Kevin Hervey and sophomore guard Erick Neal led the scoring brigade with 20 points apiece while junior guard Drew Charles and sophomore guard Nathan Hawkins each had 17 to complete the scoring quartet.

“It was a very good offensive performance by us,” said Scott Cross, men’s basketball head coach.
