The race to the NBA MVP award is almost always close, and most years are controversial, such as Steve Nash’s back-to-back MVP seasons in ’04-’05 and ’05-’06. This year’s conversation is no different, as most people can agree on the top three candidates, but there are a number of valid arguments why each of these three should be crowned the Most Valuable Player.
