It’s going to be a busy week for the men’s tennis team.
The Mavericks will split up to compete Saturday through Thursday in the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American in Tulsa, Okla., and the Rice Invitational in Houston.
Senior Daniel Armengol and sophomores Mauricio Del Rio and Guanarteme Nuez will represent UTA in Tulsa. Four will play in the Rice Invitational.
Head coach Diego Benitez said the team has a big task to qualify for the main draw.
“It is going to be the best competition in the U.S.,” Benitez said. “I am looking forward to seeing what they can do on the national stage.
