The UTA volleyball team is returning to College Park Center to host the 2016 Sun Belt Championship Friday through Sunday.
Eight teams, including the Mavericks, will compete for the conference title and an automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship.
UTA finished the regular season with a 16-15 record, earning a fourth-place standing and No. 4 seed in the tournament for the fourth consecutive season.
“10 and six is not what we had hoped for in conference play, but being the four seed is a good spot for us,” head coach Diane Seymour said.
