The men's basketball team (4-1) prepares to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves (5-1) at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, its first home game off of the road, after an overtime loss against the South Alabama Jaguars.
UTA is having one of its best career seasons thus far in the Sun Belt Conference and 13-3 overall, including big wins against the Ohio State Buckeyes, Memphis Tigers and rival University of North Texas Mean Green.
“We haven’t changed a whole lot as coaches. We coach the same way, we may change the way we run a play, or the way we run defense, but it’s the players that are out there doing it,” head coach Scott Cross said.
