The men's basketball team will have to finish its run toward an historic season without one of its top players as sophomore forward Kevin Hervey will miss the rest of the season because of a torn left ACL that occurred in pre-game warmups prior to Thursday’s game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
Head coach Scott Cross said that Hervey will be missed but the team plays with a next-man-up mentality and senior forward Kennedy Eubanks will have step in to fill the void of one of the Sun Belt Conference’s top players as Hervey averaged 18 points and 9.
