After a 2017 season that saw the baseball team lose a few key players, the Mavericks head into their 2018 season with depth on the field, at the plate and in the bullpen.
“I’m fully confident in our team,” junior catcher Will Olson said. “Every time we step on the field, we have a chance to win and I expect to win every game we go out there.”
Last season the Mavericks lost senior infielder Christian Hollie for five weeks, senior pitcher Daniel James for a few weeks because of hip surgery and sophomore Josh Minjarez for the year because of an ankle injury.
