Led by head coach Morgan Wood, UTA’s women’s wheelchair basketball team, the Lady Movin’ Mavs, are ready to make their mark this season.
Wood will lead the team in her fifth year as head coach. She has been instilling in her players the need to be a new version of themselves. She has competed in multiple national championships for the program as a player and as a competitor for Team USA. With that experience, she said she’s looking to lead the team to the top.
She said the team has been on a roller coaster the past few years, sparking the potential to be one of the best teams to ever play for the program.
