The Lady Mavs (13-12, 8-7) will try to end the Little Rock Trojans’ (14-11, 12-4) nine-game winning streak at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Jack Stephens Center.
In their last meeting, the Trojans used a late 19-5 run, midway through the third quarter to take a 59-55 win over the Lady Mavs.
The Trojans have not lost since then, compiling nine straight wins and elevating to second in the conference.
The Lady Mavs have also played well since then, winning six of their last eight games.
“Both teams are playing some of their best basketball right now,” head women’s basketball coach Krista Gerlich said.
