Aaron Guanlao just had the best performance of his career.
If someone had told him it was coming, he wouldn't have believed them.
"I've actually struggled since the start of the semester," the junior golfer said. "I had to go back to my basics and what got me here."
Things started clicking for Guanlao when he shot a 69 in the first round of the Little Rock First Tee Collegiate Classic on March 28. He closed the Classic at 2-under-par, good for a fourth-place finish.
"My confidence has just completely skyrocketed," Guanlao said.
Guanlao and senior golfer Josh Radcliff compete in practice every day.
